Doors Open Toronto 2017

This year was the first time I actually went to Doors Open, partly because I was lucky enough to actually be in the city this year! I only had a few hours so I picked a couple of places that I'd always wanted to see namely the Canada Life building, R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant, and Commerce Court. It was a bit of an Art Deco tour. Next time, I'll be sure to check out the City Hall viewing platform since I'm really interested in all the city views from floors and buildings that were once open to the public but for various reasons, no longer are. City Hall and Canada Life are two such buildings. Looking forward to spending more time exploring this city next Doors Open!

The Thomas Fisher Rare Book library. As a U of T student, I though I'd be able to get better access to the stacks, but alas, that was not tobe. I guess you need a special membership?
